Requisite Documents
Please check the list of requisite documents before submitting your
application. The guidelines listed on this site will help you prepare
your documents as accurately as possible. This will reduce the chances
of your application being incomplete or not being processed. The
documents required will vary depending on the reason of travel like:

- The above mentioned are not exhaustive lists of documentation.
- In order to facilitate the processing of your visa application, please provide your business card with updated contact details at the time of submission at VFS Switzerland application centre
- Applicants have to attach their valid UK/US/Canada/Australia & all previous Schengen visa copies in their application files when submitting at the VFS Switzerland Application Centre.
- If required by the Embassy of Switzerland, you may be requested to bring additional documents.
- If required by the Embassy of Switzerland, an applicant may have to attend a Personal Interview with at the Switzerland Embassy. The interviews will be scheduled by VFS. The date and time of the interview will be intimated by VFS on the contact number provided by the applicant on the application form.
- Personal Interviews with the Switzerland Embassy must be attended on the date scheduled.
- Applicants appearing for a personal interview are requested to carry all their relevant documents in original.
- Minor/s traveling without both or any one of their parents would require no objection certificate (NOC) from the non-accompanying parent/s.
- Please carryone additional photocopy of first page of passport at the time of Personal Interview at the Embassy.
IMPORTANT
- This is to keep you informed that visa applicants applying for Switzerland visa can also apply directly at the Swiss embassy. The processing time is a minimum of 5 working days for the applications submitted at VFS under normal circumstances (excluding day of submission at VFS) and it is a minimum of 10 working days for the applications submitted personally at the embassy under normal circumstances.
