- New Directives from the Consulate General Of Switzerland
- IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR DEMAND DRAFTS:
With effect from Monday, 28th November 2011, all agents/individuals/representatives who submit their applications at the VFS should make the payment either by cash or Demand Draft in favour of VFS GLOBAL SERVICES PVT. LTD.
Applicants who wish to apply directly at the office of the Consulate General of Switzerland, Mumbai, must make the demand draft in favour of CONSULATE GENERAL OF SWITZERLAND, MUMBAI.

FOR HONEYMOON VISAS:
Honeymooners do not have to submit anymore their wedding pictures. The marriage invitation card is enough. The Honeymoon visa circular on the web site has been updated accordingly hence, please check the same for more details.
FOR INCENTIVE VISAS:
Tour operators may lodge incentive groups in several lots. The last lot has to be submitted at least 5 working days prior to the departure. The Incentive visa circular on the web site has been updated accordingly hence, please check the same for more details.
Please note, ADMINISTRATION FEES ARE NOT APPLICABLE EITHER FOR INCENTIVE GROUPS OR FILM GROUPS.
FOR TOURIST VISAS:
Tour operators may lodge their groups max. 3 months prior to the departure without flight bookings. A confirmation letter from the operator that they are going to purchase the ticket later on is enough.

Important Note: As per the instructions of The Consulate General of the Switzerland you are kindly requested to check the details on the Visa (e.g. spelling of the name, passport number, duration/dates of visa) before leaving the Consulate or VFS Counter.
- As Per the New European Union Visa Code a valid travel document to be considered:
1. Not older than 10 years when applying for a visa
2. Valid at least 3 months after intended stays ends
3. 2 blank pages (one for sticker, one for border stamps)
