- New visa fees:This is to inform all applicants that effective 27th September 2011 the new visa fee for Embassy of Switzerland, New Delhi will be as follows:
All categories: Rupees 4200/-; Postal/Referral: Rupees 300/-; Child between the age of 6-12: Rupees 2500/- , formal decision case :Rupees 8600/-.

Authority Letter: With effect from 21st March 2011 all travel agents and representatives need to carry a authority letter from applicants for the submission of applications. The applications without the authority letter from Applicants will not be accepted.
- As Per the New European Union Visa Code a valid travel document to be considered:
1. Not older than 10 years when applying for a visa
2. Valid at least 3 months after intended stays ends
3. 2 blank pages (one for sticker, one for border stamps)

Due to the sudden surge in the number of visa applications, the Swiss VFS counter will only accept applications by prior appointment.
Please note that minimum time for processing a Swiss visa is 7 working days excluding the submission day at VFS. Applications with less processing days will not be accepted at the VFS centre.
